Hungry for Hope: A Joe's Place AVIVA Project

Joe's Place is a youth centre located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. We are involved in a contest with the Aviva Community Fund. We entered our project entitled Hungry for Hope. Up against entries from major cities such as Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. We watched with excitement as our community rallied around our project and pushed us through to the semi finals.

We finished 2nd in the first round, even though many groups were from larger more populated cities! So here we are in the semi-finals. What we need, is for you to check out our video and become part of our story by voting for us!

There are 62 groups left, and the the 25 with the highest vote count go through to the finals.

Joe's Place

A trailer of just a few of the events that we are involved in. From camping to concerts we cram as much fun as possible into everything we do.

YQ 2009

Once again Joe's Place loaded up a bus full of excited youth and headed out to Briercrest. Each year Briercrest hosts a large youth conference, bringing in speakers, bands, inflatable games and more. This year Joe's Place had a blast breaking records, listening to the speakers and of course the late night concert on Friday.
